While Mom is away part 2....

Dad had many adventures up his sleeve while I was away! The kids were so worn out! Fun, boy bonding time for them!

Started out with some ceral...guess kitty decided to join in

After breakfast they headed out to Tracy Aviaries to see the birds

 Had to get their hands stamped

After seeing all the birds they headed over to Liberty Park and played in the splash pad...Nick said they were soaked for the drive home...oh well!

Another successful day with Dad!

While Mom is away...

Well I had the wonderful opportunity to return to St. George for another girls trip (we did this last year too) with my Mother-in-law and my 2 awesome sister-in-laws.  It is sooo fun and relaxing! We rent a nice big cozy house and literally relax for a couple days.  We eat, shop, swim (meaning lay out), sleep in etc. It is always such a great and relaxing get away but of course I miss Nick and the boys.  Nick is such a great Dad and while I was away kept the boys on the move and very entertained.  Seriously so blessed to have a man who loves to be with his kids as much as Nick does...and boy do they LOVE their Dad! Thanks Nick for letting me get away and to unwind while you kept busy with the kiddos!

The day we left a fire in Saratoga Springs broke out.  I was kinda sad to miss the action! I also felt concern for those who were having to evacuate their homes!

Dad (aka Nick) decided to take the kids on the Jordan River walking path to see what they could find

Saratoga Splash Parade

Each year our city has Saratoga Splash.  They always have a parade and we try to go to it each year.  Nolan LOVES parades and I think he thinks that all police and fireman do is give out candy to kids ;) So fun to watch your little one get so excited about the simple things in life.  Kids bring the fun back into life!!

 Got our chairs set out and we were set! Mitchell and Josh (Nolan and Milos cousins) joined us for the parade fun!

Motorcycle rides with Grandma and Grandpa

We got a call from Grandpa (my dad) saying he had rented a harley for the day and that they were on their way down to give the kids rides.  So fun for Nolan...and Milo was not havin it! :)
