Christmas

Well Santa made it to our house this year! We had such a great Christmas. Christmas is by far my favorite holiday and especially with kids :) Nolan was SO EXCICTED about Christmas this year. I was even sad when the day was over! We spent the morning at home unwrapping presents together. Then in the afternoon we headed to my parents house for breakfast (I guess you could say brunch by the time we ate) and unwrapped more gifts and just hung out together. Then in the evening we headed to nicks parents house to unwrap more gifts and eat dinner. We enjoyed the day spending time with our families and just being together! Can't wait til next year :)

We had such a great day! We are so blessed to have family around us. We love the time we get to spend with them. We are especially grateful for the birth of our savior and for remembering him this time of year!

Visiting Santa

We ventured out to fashion place mall to let the boys visit santa! Nolan was so excited to be able to sit on Santas lap and talk about the things he wanted for Christmas this year! Milo was indifferent :) Not sure if he really understood who's lap he was sitting on...

p.s. I got in trouble for taking personal photos of the kids on Santas lap! Apparently if you want photots, you are supposed to purchase their over prices packages of photos. I was glad I snapped a few pics of the kids before I realized this :)

Temple Square Lights

We went with Tyler, Sarah and their kiddos to Temple Square to walk around and see the Christmas lights...it's always so beautiful there this time of year! It was really cold and Milo was not a happy camper by the end of the night...Nolan LOVES spending time with his cousins, they all play so well together!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at Nicks parents this year...It's always soooo delicious with Barbs amazing cooking. Thanksgiving is Nicks favorite Holiday. We love being able to spend the day together as a family and enjoy each others company!

Charlie Brown tree hunting

My parents started a really fun tradition with us when we were little. They made each of us kids our own little charlie brown tree. They would cut down the branch, spray paint it a gold, silver or white color and then put it in a basket with some plaster paras to secure it and then decorated it with christmas lights and our own personal christmas ornaments. Each year on Christmas eve my parents would give us an ornament to put on our charlie brown tree...and over the years the collection has grown and I still have all the ornaments from when I was a child. This is a tradition that I defiantly want to pass down to my kids so we set out one afternoon to hunt for our branches so I could make them their own charlie brown trees.

Sawyer Brown Concert

Nicks Dad took us all out to Wendover to see Sawyer Brown in concert. He rented a big car that we could all fit in and we left the kids at home...adults only! :) It was so much fun!
