Playin in the snow

We really didn't get a lot of opportunities this year to really play in the snow. I don't think we got much snow this year, and if we did it seem to go away quick! So this was about the extent of our snow playin! Nick and Nolan had a great time out there. This kid could play in rain, snow, wind, sun...You name it and he wants to play in it. He is one active boy!

Best Buddies! For real! Nolan is such a Daddy's boy and Nick enjoys every second he gets with this kid! He is such a great Dad!

Christmas Day!

Christmas day was such a blast...as it always is. Its always very busy, but we like that. We first get up and unwrap our own presents and then we make our way to my parents house were we do more present giving and unwrapping and then eat the most yummy breakfast you could ever imagine :) it's been a breakfast tradition since I was little so that is one of the things I look forward to the most! After we spend most the morning there we leave to go spend the evening with Nicks family. There we exchanged more gifts and eat the left over breakfast. It is always so fun! I love our family so much. It's great to be able to spend the day with both sides of the family and to experience this special day with most of our loved ones. I am so grateful for the birth of our savior Jesus Christ for having such a pleasant day to celebrate his birth!

Christmas Eve

Can I even express how EXCITED I was for Christmas this year?? I love the Christmas season. I love the gift giving, holiday parties and festivities, the time Nick gets off from work, the magic of the Christmas tree, spending time with family, Christmas music, the snow, the yummy food and goodies, and enjoying my kids this time of year. I just love it!

Here are some photos on Christmas eve. We have a tradition of opening up a few gifts. One is an ornament to go on our charlie brown trees. And we started the tradition of giving the kids pjs.

One night after we had gotten Nolan to bed we went in to check on him and he was missing out of his bed...we looked around for a bit and then found him here....in his dresser! Sooo hilarious! He is such a funny kid.
