First feeding, ok... maybe second feeding

Well since I am so behind on my blogging you might get a post everyday for a few days til I can get caught up with all the recent pictures. I am sorry if these post seem boring to you...but blogging about our little guy is so fun to me :) plus I have future plans of making our blog into a book one day so I gotta blog about all the little milestones of our little one for our record.
We have started Nolan on solid food. I was concerned that he was still maybe too young for it but the doctor reassured me that because of his size he would be perfectly fine. Yes, he is 97% for his height and 90% for his weight so almost 5 mo and weighing in at 17 lbs and 2 oz. our little guy is now ready to eat like a big boy! It is so cute to watch him eat. The first feeding was hilarious! I could just read his thoughts....such as: "what the crap is this"!! But after the first few feeding and getting the hang of things he LOVES his rice cereal and here is proof of it.....

Future thumb sucker? Only time will tell.....

Nolan has officially discovered he has a thumb and I think it's the cutest thing... Nick thinks it's cute but doesn't really want him to be a thumb sucker. He thinks it's cute when he finds his thumb every so often but I think he's a little worried that he will become dependent on it. I on the other hand don't really care either way. Maybe I am a little biased cause I was a thumb sucker addict myself (yup until age 6...old enough to remember it being really hard to quite) so maybe I find it particularly cute because I see a little of myself in him :)
I am so behind on blogging and I have so many pictures to post of this stinkin cute kid (and once again I am being a bit biased because he is my own) but we have so many Christmas pictures to post. Hopefully I will get around to posting all these fun pics!

Another baby post

I will be honest, posting has become a lot more fun since I have a kid :) I am just in love with this kid. Being a mommy is the greatest! (with a few exceptions) :) all in all Nolan is getting bigger everyday and I love all the mile stones we are reaching. Each day I swere, he is doing something new. It's just so fun. Here are some recent pictures and a few more on the way!

Cam (Nicks brother) came over the other night and we watched a movie and ate pizza. Good times! Nolan is just chillin with the guys.

I can finally use the BUMBO chair. I have been so excited to use this. I received it as a gift (thanks Mel, Jeanne and Vosti) and Nolan loves it. I think it helps him to feel independent.

My Little Man

Are you ready for some picture overload?? Ok here it goes....Nolan is now 4 mo. Can you believe it? I can't!! He is so stinkin fun right now, I can't stand it. He is seriously the best baby. I have a feeling, because he is so good, that I have no idea what I'm "really" in for next time around. His personality is so chill and go with the flow and he hardly ever cry's. I had these pictures done when he was about 3 mo. I am so behind on my blogging its ridiculous. I love these pictures so much because I think the photos really capture his personality. Today Nolan rolled over for the first time! He rolled from his tummy to his back. Now I am sure most of you are probably thinking what a lame post...but I can't tell you how EXCITED I was!!!!! It was so fun to watch him figure it out today. I was so glad I had my camera on hand. It is so amazing watching the little things he does. He's changing so much from day to day, I just want to capture all these little moments!

Halloween

We sure did enjoy ourselves this Halloween especially since it was Nolan's first Halloween. Nolan was a pea in a pod. It was so fun to dress him up, even though he hated it when his costume was on. I was lame and didn't dress up, Halloween just isn't my thing...even though I love the time of year. I prefer Thanksgiving and Christmas :) We had fun hanging out with family, eating lots of candy and yummy food!

now heres the man that LOVES halloween. Nicks brother Cam totally gets into Halloween, it's his favorite holiday. As you can see Cam is in the body builder costume. Nick wore it half the day and then Cam wore it the other half. Good times!!

Well, I have nothing special really to blog about. I just need to post some resent pictures of Nolan. I can't believe he will be 3 months next week, where has the time gone??? It's gone so fast and he is starting to get so much more interactive and social. I have really been enjoying these last few weeks with him. I will admit the first month kicked my butt. I was so exhausted from lack of sleep and then trying to recover on top of that was just so hard. I really asked myself "what have I done"!!! But getting through that first month and now having Nolan sleeping through the night has really helped (he started sleeping through the night at about 6 weeks, I consider myself blessed) I truly can't imagine our lives without Nolan. He really has such a special spirit and I already have fallen in love with his personality. I am so excited for the months to come!!

Happy Birthday Nick

I just wanted to do a special post for my special man!!
