Visiting Grandpas Grave

Of course I am playing catch up with the blog again... Life has been busy and if this is the only way I can get blogging done by doing it all at once then so be it! :) You know something? I have a good life! I am a happy mom of 2 beautiful boys and am married to the most WONDERFUL husband and father to our kids! I am blessed beyond belief and I am so grateful.

Here are some updates of what we have been up to...We went and visited Grandpa Evans grave.  It was the year anniversary of when he passed away.  We miss him dearly and are so glad we have a place to go to reflect on his life and the impression he has left in our hearts.  We are so grateful for the eternal plan that we will be able to be with, and see our family members again after this life.  Can't wait to see you again Grandpa Evans!

BBQ at the Westerns

We were able to reunite with some old friends...We grew up with them in Sandy! We went on lots of family trips to Lake Powell...We have MANY childhood memories together.  It has been YEARS since we have all been together.  We had a BBQ and the kids were able to ride their horses and collect eggs from their chicken coop.  It was so fun to catch up and reminisce about the good ol days.

Nick took the boys out on a walk while I stayed back home to get some things done.  Shortly after they left Nick yelled in to come down and bring the camera with...they said they had something to show me.  I was just praying it wasn't a snake!  They had caught a crawfish by the river...I guess one of the perks of living next to the river :)

Sunday fun

Some Sundays you just gotta get out and let the kiddos expel some energy! So we went on a nature walk around our place and then headed over to the new park by our house. We really do love the time that we get to be together.
