We spent Thanksgiving at Nicks parents this year...It's always soooo delicious with Barbs amazing cooking. Thanksgiving is Nicks favorite Holiday. We love being able to spend the day together as a family and enjoy each others company!
My parents started a really fun tradition with us when we were little. They made each of us kids our own little charlie brown tree. They would cut down the branch, spray paint it a gold, silver or white color and then put it in a basket with some plaster paras to secure it and then decorated it with christmas lights and our own personal christmas ornaments. Each year on Christmas eve my parents would give us an ornament to put on our charlie brown tree...and over the years the collection has grown and I still have all the ornaments from when I was a child. This is a tradition that I defiantly want to pass down to my kids so we set out one afternoon to hunt for our branches so I could make them their own charlie brown trees.
Nicks Dad took us all out to Wendover to see Sawyer Brown in concert. He rented a big car that we could all fit in and we left the kids at home...adults only! :) It was so much fun!
Well Nick and I decided today was the last day we would allow Milo to have his binki. I don't like to let them have it past a certain age so it won't mess with their teeth and to prevent dental problems later. But it's always such a sad day for me cause he is soooo stinkin cute with it! So I had to get some pictures of it so I could remember how cute he was with it! So long binki, you have been good to us! :)
