Saratoga Splash

This year we decided to be festive and join our "cities day" Saratoga Splash. Both Nick and I don't enjoy parades but when you have kids for some strange reason they become fun...I think it's because it's fun to watch them get so excited. So needless to say we enjoyed ourselves!

Sunday stroll up AF Canyon

Sometimes me and Nick (more me) can get a little stir crazy inside doing nothing so we decided to enjoy the nice weather and walk around AF canyon, which is one of my favorite places.

He just learned how to ride his bike...so cute and just in time for summer!

Riding Bikes

Nick hooked up the bike trailer and took Nolan on a ride on the Jordan River trail. They fed some cows and threw rocks in the water that has flooded some of the trail.

Nolan finally figured out how to peddle on his bike so now he can actually ride it this summer. It was a proud moment :)

Milo's 1st Birthday Bash!

Milo turned 1 May 5, 2011. We had a family birthday bash. We rented our club house and had dinner. It was a lot of fun! Milo has truly brought us so much joy! He is mellowed natured and has been such a good baby. I am so grateful to be his Mom and look forward for all the years to come. We love you Milo

This picture melts my heart. This is when we were singing happy birthday to him. We everyone focused on him and he realized we were singing to him his eyes just lit up! I almost felt like crying! Just one of those mommy moments :)

Nicks Grandpas Funeral

Well a funeral is never a fun thing to blog about. Nicks Grandpa past away this May. It was good in some ways so that he could be reunited with his wife (nicks grandma) he was looking forward to that...so you couldn't help but to be happy for him. But of course we will miss him and continue to celebrate his life. We will miss you Grandpa Evans and will forever be remembered in our thoughts and memories.

Easter

This year for Easter I had my family over a couple days before Easter to dye Easter eggs and frost sugar cookies. We had a lot of fun and Nolan thought it was pretty cool. Easter Sunday we went to Nicks parents house and had a fun Easter dinner.
